This game has not aged well...
This game is really unpolished and it shows. The game put the speedy hedgehog on the map. However, the level design goes against his speedy nature. It starts off with an amazing opening zone and straight after a really terrible pace breaker - Marble Zone, that makes you traverse a sluggish maze instead of being a 'speedrun' course. The obstacles you will be facing are very closely aligned with the arcade era, which prolongs replayability by making you hit a game over. The soundtrack is amazing and the boss fights are fun. However, I recommend you only play this game once to experience it, or more in particular - Greenhill Zone and Starlight Zone.
