I see the adventure but I couldn't bring myself to take the dive and get immersed in it. Though the age of the game is a factor, I will say that it should not hinder others from giving it a fair shot, though I would suggest a guide to aid you.

Geralt is stiff, the combat lacks feedback though the pacing system is quite good, quests are admittedly kind of boring.

Looting and inventory management is greatly helped with an unlimited stash at inns, though being unable to loot weapons beyond one per type at a time is a bit of a useless hinderance.

Overall, give it a shot something might hook you more than I, the lore of the Witcher is rich with monsters, alchemy, and world building. But that wasn't enough to hold me for gameplay.
