A wonderful little visual novel with its gameplay premise centered entirely around picross/nonogram. The story is light hearted, for the most part, and the characters are likeable and memorable. The detective aspect is rather simple, you can't fail any investigation, but I was okay with that as it wasn't meant to be confusing. Again, the focus was on the puzzles.

Admittedly, the picross can start to grind into chapter 3 as they get bigger and take longer, which carries over to Scout Memories side puzzles. You will get burned out if you try to speed through it. However, lovers of Picross will not be disappointed and even those who've never tried it can find fun with a sale price.
