Immaculate music and wildly creative visual design, held back by uninteresting gameplay and nearly ruined by insufferable boss battles. A real chore to play once the sheen loses its shock value.

The gameplay is the best part. I'd argue the worst part of Tropical Freeze is that it feels like the series no longer has soul (which has been the case even during Returns) and the music isn't that memorable
