As someone who played the original SNES version multiple times over growing up and has a very special place in my heart for that game, this game was so refreshing in its faithfulness to the original. There were a few small changes, including a couple of characters with their names changed (I get that Frogfucius was probably changed due to cultural sensitivity, but why change the name of Mack to Claymorton???), but overall it maintained the charm of the original quite well. I'd love to see this pave the way for a sequel perhaps????
