I've always had a soft spot for horror games, especially for ones that rely on their atmosphere rather than cheap jump scares. So yeah, I guess it's no wonder that 'The Coma: Recut' was right up my alley.

I've never played the original game, so I can't say how much was changed for this recut version. What I can tell you is that this is a really nice-looking 2D horror adventure, that might not be that crazy scary, but it's quite challenging and has multiple endings, so there's also some replay value here.

Unfortunately, the controls are a bit unresponsive sometimes, which can be really frustrating in the middle of an escape sequence, so be prepared to see the main character die quite a number of times before you finish the game.

Even though it's flawed in its execution, I can recommend this to the fans of Asian horrors. As long as your expectations aren't too high, I'm sure you'll find it just as entertaining as I did.
