Yeah it's still mediocre as fuck. Cool references can't save this horribly mediocre experience with bare minimum side scrolling gameplay and some of the worst design I have ever seen in a game of this caliber. The game, at least on consoles, is a horribly glitchy mess online. Co-Op will randomly split, crash, and cause glitches for no reason. You'll start flying or the ground will just simply cease to exist. I have tons of videos of me and my friend simply laughing our asses off at the glitches in this game.

I played this game on release, beat it, beat it again a few years ago, and came back for the title update. It's still the same mid ass co-op dependent indie game as it ever was.
