This was better than the first DLC but not by a huge margin. The combat felt more fun this time around with more interesting use of the games mechanics, but for some reason they had a platforming section towards the beginning? It's just kind of weird because the movement in this game doesn't really lend well to a platforming challenge. The story as a whole is more interesting yet still pretty light, all it really says is Alan Wake is trying to escape from the Dark Place which isn't that hard to figure out from the base game.
