This is the better of the two episodes and of the series overall. I think it's better than the main game. The setpieces are a lot of fun and pretty cool. The character interactions and dialogue are pretty solid. The story is some of the best in the series so far. I didn't get frustrated with it a lot. This is my favorite game in the series right now, but Half-Life: Alyx will likely be better.
