I thought people were exaggerating with the endless hallway stuff. NOPE.

Aside from that obvious criticism the story is just not good, especially how they handle certain side characters story arcs in the late game.

Only reasons I score it this high is because the battle system is actually very good albeit it takes forever to get all it's tools and the last third is much less monotonous thanks to finally having a much more open area with side content.
