There's some neat ideas here but unfortunately it's still pretty bland and hard-but-not-in-a-fun-way unlike that one serie it tries so much to emulate. Special mention to the Cathedral of the Sacred Blood for being probably the worst big zone of any Souls-like I've ever seen. Oh and the story sucks too.

Half a point for the character creator though, spent way too much time on it.
