After beating the first four FNAF games for the first time, FNAF 4 is definitely my favorite so far. It feels a lot more skill-based than FNAF 1, a lot harder than FNAF 3, but also not to the point of being unfair like FNAF 2. It's a perfect balance. In my opinion, it's also the scariest game out of the first four. The game relies heavily on audio prompts telling you where the animatronics are/what they are doing, and this really makes you so much more focused on the game and practically forces you to have your volume on max. All of this combined with the very unsettling designs of the animatronics makes the jumpscares hit a whole lot harder. Plus I love that what was intended to be the final FNAF game ends on the moment William Afton's descent into insanity begins: that being the death of his youngest son at the hands of his oldest son, or the Bite of 83' as it's called.
