I'm a huge fan of platformers and I've heard only good things about Rayman Origins and Legends, but somehow I never got to play them. And now with the newest Prince of Persia game being released I decided to play the previous games from the studio and I'm pretty impressed. Rayman Origins is great! The controls are tight and the physics are suprisingly unique. The game has a strong sense of momentum when you're controlling the character. The level design is great, but I didn't like how the game is designed with 4 player multiplayer in mind, so some of the lums in the stages are pretty annoying to get when playing alone. The stages are a bit too long IMO. But everything is so well done that I forgot about the game's issues. It reminds me a lot of Donkey Kong Country sometimes, especially in the extra bonus rooms. The game has a very beautiful art presentation that holds up well even 13 years later. The sountrack is fantastic! I'm putting songs from this game on my playlist for sure! I also would like to give a shoutout to the trick treasure levels, they're very fun. All in all a great game, I'm excited to move on to Rayman Legends and later to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
