It's so good to be back to one of my first PS3 games! Lollipop Chainsaw is still awesome in many ways, I love how insane and lunatic the game is! The team-up between Suda51 and James Gunn is beautifully weird! Replaying this game after playing the No More Heroes games I can really identify the influences: the unique boss battles, over the top combat and exagerated humor, this mixture works very well in my opinion. I love the characters, let's just take a minute to appreciate Juliet Starling, she's beautiful and amazing, applauses for Juliet! I love her interactions with Nick and her sisters, they're so likeable! The game's artstyle works very well and the soundtrack is bonkers good, I can sense James Gunn's touch in this part. The game plays very well and the combat is good. It's fun to buy new combos and learn new abilities for your chainsaw, I think the game utilizes its mechanics well, the boss battles are a highlight, they're incredibly fun and crazy! The controller rumble when you rip zombies apart with your chainsaw feels very good! I like the arcade vibes of the game a lot, you even receive a trophy at the end of each stage like the games made by PlatinumGames. I might go back to 100% it and I hope they don't screw up the remake or remaster or whatever they are doing right now, this game is very special to me.
