Bullet SOUL af. This game is super rough. Bullet/enemy visibility is far from great, levels go on for too long, the difficulty curve is all over the place, and this game has some of the most blatant genuinely cheap deaths I've seen in a modern shmup. Despite all that though, this game is still super fun!? Help!? The music kicks ass, the character art is great and both main modes are a lot of fun, especially Burst mode that is like Dangun Feveron but with hypers. I could see Bullet Soul becoming one of my main guilty pleasure kinda shmups in the long term. Underrated.
