New Vegas was such a breath of fresh air for Fallout in an RPG sense. Your actions affected what a faction would think of you, and whether you could join that faction in the forseeable future, thus giving you an ending you might not have wanted, which I love since it doesn't hold your hand unlike a game like Skyrim. The settlements are my favourite out of the franchise, since New Vegas shows a sense of hope and order.
