Unnecessarily confusing to me. I don't know. It is slightly fun, but unfair sometimes. The stages have a good length, not so short, nor so long. It is very hard to find the Chaos Emeralds, wish it was more intuitive. Green Hills Zone's theme is the highest point of the game, in my opinion (you'll know when you hear it).
