A pretty good looter shooter jammed into one of the most detailed and beautiful games worlds I have ever seen, before or since. The amount of care that has gone into snow-ridden mid-pandemic New York is downright unbelievable. Abandoned Christmas lights reflect off the body bags of a mass grave, the jam-packed entranced to an underground tunnels tells the story of a failed evacuation without saying a word, and the CDC markings on the doors of a deserted apartment building communicates this site as a pandemic hotspot.

Environment isn't where this depth ends, hundreds of collectibles showing little mini-stories about New York slowly falling into pandemonium are an absolute thrill to collect. From teenagers gossiping over the phone while their parents audibly discuss the emerging disasters in the background, to sit-down debriefs with soldiers present within the Quarantine. Other collectibles such as ECHOs and missing agent profiles makes Green Flu New York an environment one easily loses themselves in.

Also the gameplay's pretty good ig
