Wish I gave a shit about single player splatoon sooner. This is easily the best experience I've had from a switch exclusive. The level design absolutely blows the base game campaign out of the water. There are really neat puzzle sections sprinkled throughout and some of the tests offer a welcome challenge with a generous learning curve.

Even though the DLC was fairly consistent in its quality throughout my playthrough, I think the game truly shined in its final stages. They take all the mechanics littered throughout the DLC and combine into one big spy thriller gauntlet.

My only real gripe with this game is that it reuses bosses from the base game (albeit with small twists) and that the ost is fairly hit or miss. The music in the matchmaking segments was especially grating.

Looking forward to what Splatoon 3 has in store.
