Absolute masterpiece that I'm happy to have finally been able to play. I watched my cousins play it all the time as a kid but was too scared to play it back then. The gritty tone really sucks you right in. Seriously, I can't recommend it enough! I actually played Alan Wake 1 when I first got my 360 and its so cool to see how both games have such a similar writing style. As a matter of fact this might just be one of my favourite 3rd person shooters now.
Also, it's so hard not to love Sam Lake's face. It's so good XD
