Shadowrun was easily one of my favorite games of its era. It took the gameplay loop that has made Counter-Strike so successful and then expanded on it. The addition of races with unique benefits, tech, and magic gave so many options for how to play the game and dramatically enhanced the experience. Of all of the games that come to mind, I'd like nothing more than a sequel to Shadowrun on today's hardware.
