So this game is kind of odd, but what I want anyone who reads this to know is that the people who used to make Fable ARE TALENTED. Always have been, probably always will be. What shook me to my very core is that it's an adaptation of a much loved boardgame that PERFECTLY captures the aesthetic and fun of that in person experience, but circumvents all the things that unfortunately make playing physical Gloomhaven such a pain in the ass. I would still give regular Gloomhaven 3 stars, but this is the better experience Imo. You should still definitely play with friends however, I can imagine this being a trying solo experience.
