The game comes loaded with accesability features for newcomers, something that easily makes this the most welcoming Pikmin game to pick up. There are tons of returning creatures that veterans of the series will appreciate, as well as brand new ones that keep you on your toes. Caves return with an all new revamp, each cave has unique mechanics and interactions that keep them from ever feeling too stale. You'll find yourself playing through areas to completion despite new areas opening up. It's definitely satisfying to clear out an area as quickly as possible, and the designers certainly knew that.
