The farthest I could go with my experience with doom is doom 2016 and now doom eternal. Doom eternal improves everything that 2016 had. The pace is fast, the enemies plenty, and the arenas tough. There is such a variety from how you want to build your slayer and there also are ways to make combat easier. for example, you throw a grenade inside the mouth of the cacodemon and all you need to do is glory kill it then after glory killing it if there is a pinky or a specter you can use the blood punch to one hit ko them. Most of the arenas are done in a way that lets you fly around and take on demons in whatever order you wish. The game is challenging so if you are playing this game you have to take time to understand the tools you have to go through and I love that, this gives a form of affinity between me and the game. This would give me the motivation needed to play through the game and try out it's other offerings like horde mode, ripatorium, and master levels all of which let's you master the game. The collectibles gives you anything you can ask for like the story of the game, the history of the developers and the game, and other neat little things like the toys for each demon in the game. The only thing I have as a complaint is the final boss, goodness that took too long for even a final boss battle and the health system they have for the boss didn't translate well with my enjoyment. Overall great game with a few flaws here and there but other then the final boss, the flaws can be overlooked.

I will be playing the DLC later and giving my thoughts on that later.
