I can't help but feel that I've been plunged into a Lovecraft fishing simulator and I couldn't be happier. Dredge combines very smooth gameplay with a lovely art style which results in a calming but sometimes spooky fishing experience. Although I adore fishing and collecting - and getting scared by fishes, there is a gripping story that is told via notes found and scarce character dialogue (very dark souls style) which makes it all the more appealing to see through to the end:
4.5 aberrant fish out of 5 🐟🐟🐟🦑
