This was the first musou game I played, so I probably like it just because of that. Also you can play as Ryu Hayabusa alongside basically every character in a Dynasty or Samurai Warriors game up to that point and a handful of other crossover characters like Ayane and Momiji from DoA/Ninja Gaiden or Joan of Arc from Bladestorm. There are a bunch of optional battles/what if scenarios on top of the game's whole gimmick of going back in time to save characters and eventually build an army strong enough to stop Orochi. If you don't like musous then there's basically nothing here for you, but if you enjoy that kind of gameplay then this is a pretty good time. I remember it running well enough on Wii U but I haven't played it in a few years so maybe I'm mistaken and it runs at like 10 fps or something.
