I never played this when I was younger and it shows its age now.

A good foundation for the series but this game has issues. PS1 level aiming, bad weapon variety and some enemy placements make the game annoying to play at times. It's often praised for its blend of platforming and combat, but the platforming is not even a challenge, nor is it particularly satisfying.
