After Mega Man 4, I feel like mega man games have since gotten progressively easier, though I don’t actually think this is bad at all. Enemy placements and enemy density becomes more manageable in that it feels a lot more fair when I lose health now that I don’t feel like throwing my controller across the room anymore and bosses’ weak points aren’t in impossible locations I can barely reach. The power-ups this time are also at its best with Rush’s jet and power being so versatile it's always fun in trying to navigate through platforms and brainstorming what would be the most efficient way in reaching the next section. Storywise, it's the same with Mega Man 5 in attempting to do a cool twist which anyone could see a mile away, but I appreciate it nonetheless as something ambitious for an NES game to do. 8.5/10, it's the best classic Mega Man game.
