Surprisingly high quality survival horror that takes a lot of notes from stuff like silent hill and event horizon and puts them to good use. The aesthetic is well-realized and while most of the story didn't land for me, the imagery in the cutscenes was very interesting and they nailed the overall atmosphere. The gameplay has all the appeal of a classic survival horror game, though I found the inventory limit very annoying in the later parts since even RE1 doesn't expect you to keep a flashlight in a precious inventory slot for so long. Having to go through Nowhere without a map as well as some other small grievances like the small delay between unlocking a door and being able to go through it were also pretty aggravating. Overall very impressive experience though.
