After playing this I firmly believe that warriors games can only be good if they're spinoff versions of another series.
Also the only female character is "girl power" which I love but this one was painfully obvious some 60 year old man who knows nothing about young women wrote her.

Did you ever try the Samurai Warriors series?
I have not heard of those
It's essentially their own spinoff from the Warriors series focusing on the Sengoku era of Japan which I mostly dig more than the Three Kingdoms setting which I also still like. The action in the later games are pretty different from 4 onward but I think they're worth playing along with the Orochi series too if you ever get the chance to go into the musou genre more.
