While From's first entry in the first world genre certainly has some hiccups, the sheer fun I had with the game along with the fantastic lore and great feeling of having a shared experience of "What the fuck is that thing it looks cool?" with my friends for the first few days is unrivaled.

The graphics/aesthetics are gorgeous. The music is beautiful. DS3 is probably a more tightly designed game, but this will forever hold a special place in my heart.
