Ah... well... the game WAS good before they made major updates that wiped everyone's progress with their favorite pokemon. On top of it, it is impossible to avoid the shilling in this game, as packs are constantly shoved in your face and you no longer get acorns or rewards from orders in master cafe. Moreover, if you try to collect a reward but your inventory is full, the item will not (logically) be sent to your mailbox. No, instead, it will outright be deleted and erased. No game ever has done this to me. If I was not already invested and in a team with my friend, I would drop this game.

Enjoy playing for free... 5 times before you have to put the game down and let it restore your stamina.

If you are not already invested, avoid this game.

EDIT: Oh, joy. This game was not a gaccha game at first, but as time went on, they continued to promote packs more and more and it became increasingly hard to play without spending and buying acorns. Especially since the amount of acorns you get from events is miniscule compared to what you need to recharge your stamina or unlock pokemon's level cap. Now, there's a gaccha element that will cost you 30 000 acorns if you choose to use it.

Honestly? Please, do not support this game. It started off as one of my favorite little free games of all time to a money-hungry, soul-sucking, lifeless shell of its former self. I honestly think the developers should feel ashamed for how poorly they treat their consumers.
