Let me just start with saying this was a fun game for me. That said, it's not the best game I've played.

Let me start off with the pros. Night city is gorgeous to look at and to travel around, and I was honestly surprised to see that it still looked pretty decent with reduced graphics. The music is one of CB 2077's biggest pros. Silverhand's theme and radio Vexelstorm are my personal favorites. There's also so much to do in Night City, so many side gigs and side missions to keep you busy with work. Combat was alright, I found gunplay to be passable but since I was running a melee build I had some issues. Mostly how rigid and janky it felt to run to enemies and melee them. Honestly a dash button forward and backward would've been much appreciated, as running towards enemies ends in you overshotting your double jump or having to slowly creep towards enemies with your charged up attack as examples. The katanas were surprsingly really fun to use however, as they compensate for melee's low range.

As for the cons....
The cops system honestly ruined most of the immersion for me. The fact that they just teleport out of thin air as soon as you commit a crime on civies just catches you off guard and it's so dumb. The customization for both character and outfits were a bit lacking in my opinion. Keanu Reeves did a phenomenal job of voicing Silverhand, but a small nitpick was when there wasn't enough anger in the voice during some scenes. Again, small nitpick and I'm not downplaying his voice acting as a whole. Honestly, not many game breaking glitches happened in my game, and I though it was funny seeing the other glitches that happened to other people. Adam Smasher, who was hyped up and feared throughout the game was also a bit of a cakewalk. Having Weyland with me on the mission just made things pretty easy to chunk down his health. Lastly, the ending I got was an 'eh' for me. It wasn't too bad, but it got me feeling for something a bit different.

Hype has once again smashed another game down, this release honestly made me think back to No Man's Sky. CD Project Red's decisions on certain things after the game's release were a bit questionable, however I feel as though it's not my place to judge them on it. I wouldn't say I'm disappointed with how this game came out, but there's there indescribable feeling I have of how it'd be a bit different. I'm still glad I was able to play this game during this unfortunate time of a pandemic, and managed to maintain motivation to play it despite it's setbacks.

All in all, this game is a penis2 out of 10
