It's charming and has an aestethics unlike many videogames with its classic Sonic charm, CD graphics and, of course, the legendary soundtrack.

I think the level design is not that amazing many times: too chaotic and done in a puzzle way so players could make the time travels work. But some levels are really fun and filled with surprises.
