Pokémon is one of my favorite video game series and Pokémon Violet once again proves that the series is just awesome.
I don't wanna talk about the technical issues that much, everyone knows that GameFreak / The Pokémon Company fucked up and it runs like shit, but the other aspects of the game just make up for it.
The three route system is a cool idea and acts as a refresher of the same cycle Pokémon games go through. The titan route is my favorite because Arven's relationship to his Pokémon is just too cute. The whole concept of your own "treasure" is very important to me cause the game wants you to think about your own goals. <3
The characters are a lot of fun (as usual), I think Arven and Nemona are some of my favorite characters in Pokémon. Nemona is so obsessed with fighting, it showed me that neurodivergent people like me are just special and epic.
I'm glad that Toby Fox produces more music for Pokémon. Its music was and will always be outstanding, especially the boss theme of Team Star!
The world of Pokémon Violet is a lot of fun to explore but I wish the caves and ruins were a bit more interesting, they feel a bit lifeless. The final area on the other hand... that's where they put the most effort in. The music and the environment had me speechless. I was so surprised and the story just got better and better.
All in all, this game is "just" another great Pokémon game!
