Maybe I was always a sucker for punishing games...

I can't say this is an amazing game, cause it isn't. I've just learned its BS over the time I played it. That said, I can't say I didn't have fun with it either. When I got to the Dragon Master final boss and trounced his sorry hind, I was both somewhat satisfied with my accomplishment of defeating such a game (even with its myriad of instant death tricks), and also laughing at the fact that the player character looked like Krillin from Dragonball.

This is not an easy game to get into. Difficult enemy placement, some imprecise platforming, and bosses that will test you in more ways that one (with the first two bosses testing you patience more often than not) will definitely turn off any would-be players.

I only stuck around because I literally only had 8 TG-16 games in my collection when I was but a lad, and this one was one of them. But, I don't think I regret this one. Recommend, no. Enjoyed? Yeah, somewhat, warts and all.
