A middling entry in the Need for Speed franchise with some interesting ideas that don't have the follow through they deserve. The return to live action cut scenes is charming but the characters are nowhere near as interesting/camp as previous entries. Car customization is very good, and the city map is pretty enough.

Vehicle physics don't work well with the track design. The cars require wide Burnout style drifts, which work against some of the narrow, winding roads in the game.
