It's VAGUELY like Mario Party, but One Piece themed. I played the western release which was edited to remove certain things that hadn't made it to the 4Kids version (while leaving in stuff from Skypeia, which never made it to the west under them) which also means it has THOSE voice actors in it.

Instead of a game board like Mario Party, each player is a member of the Straw Hat Crew fighting for squares on a grid which have a randomly determined Berry value, which made jumping in to the game without reading any sort of tutorial or instructions made it incredibly difficult to figure out what was going on and much like Mario Party, the friend I was playing with suddenly won at the last second.

The problem is that none of the mini games are very good, like at all, they're all clunky with bad controls and are either way too fast or go on way too long. Much like most anime games there is some charm found in the game if you're a fan of the series it's a part of, but it really ends there. It's interesting to see certain characters that never interacted in the series have conversations together, like Nico Robin and Don Krieg, but it doesn't make up for the fact that the game just... isn't very fun.
