I'm just fed up of these unimaginative games. It's just the same idea rehashed with fancier graphics. Go here, fight a couple of people, go there, fight more people, find something, cut scene. It's starting to get tiresome.

The world is so beautifully rendered and yet you spend 90% of the game looking at dirt and following footprints between objectives.

For real. I dropped it near release and I still haven’t picked it up again, that format is so tiresome and I don’t think developers will ever realize it only ever worked for early open world games because they were a novelty, if you play a game like that once then you’ve seen ALL of what their contemporaries have to offer, just thinking about all of it gives me fatigue.

I was honestly surprised by the game having such a good response from people in a year were so many of the same type of Open world games were getting trashed.

@achieveringames might i suggest playing the assassins creed and watch dogs series to go with your horizon and witcher 3 favorites
@achieveringames ignore Chandler, I will say this was one or the better ones of this format along with horizon
Cool top 5 btw, xenoblade and nonary games mostly

@achieveringames Chandler was kind but hasn’t even scratched the open world surface yet!! Have you heard of this indie gem called Days Gone? The terrible no good game reviewers trashed it even though it was the exact same as other stale open world games!!!! Its underrated and fits you for sure!!!

@achieveringames ignore limp as well, if you want a really good open world game you should play elden ring. It does have its issues but its great
