I don't know how to feel about RE3.
On one hand, it plays and looks like RE2, which is great.
I really like Jill and Nemesis.
The first couple hours where you're exploring the streets and running from/fighting Nemesis are fun.
But on the other hand, the Carlos sections aren't very good. I don't really like his character and his punch isn't as useful as Jill's dodge roll.
The game is very linear and short. It doesn't have the same sense of exploration and metroidvania-like progression that RE2 did.
Nemesis is quickly relegated to boss battles and isn't as threatening as Mr X, who could appear out of nowhere at any point.
Nikolai just sucks. Terrible, boring villain.
Despite it's shortcomings, RE3 is still a good time. Just feels more like a DLC to RE2 than it's own thing.
