Pokemon should strongly consider pushing the franchise more in this direction than what they're currently doing with the mainline games. Arceus lacks some depth and is still held back by the Switch's hardware limitations, but I had 10x more fun with this title than I did Scarlet/Violet. It was nice to see them connect the stories of this and Gen 4, if only barely.
