Accelerationist meditation for your limbic system. The ritualistic part of shooting bugs up is -- as is common in the genre -- methodical, yet desperate: you need to know when and where to go all-out, so that you destroy enemies that fill up the screen with bullets as soon as possible so that their attacks fade away with them, turning into yellow amber gems you can collect. But there is something about hitboxes in this game, specifically, that both threatens and empowers you: careful, yet positively frantic movement will sometimes save you, wondering how the hell you just pulled that off. Every run will have moments that will never repeat again, but they're all basically the same. Memorization as a jump start for pure instinct.

Arrange Mode absolutely fucks.
