Totally underrated/underplayed JRPG gem for the PS2. The uber-generic OVERCOMING DIFFERENCES storyline is goofy and simplistic but super endearing in its sentimental delivery, and the turn-based / gridless SRPG combat system is inspired and so satisfying. I have no idea why Bebedora isn't more of a gaming icon because frankly everything about her rocks. Tatjana also maybe takes the cake as the most morally irredeemable and disgusting villain turned good guy party member in any game? Love that TOTS' naive and sunny idealism has room to even forgive the Dr. Mengele-level eugenicist mass torturer. Unpretentious, stupid, and cute!!!!
