The worst yugioh game on the ds, in my opinion.
In order to unlock packs, you need to clear certain "theme" or "limited" duels. You can cheese the limited duels by using 40 trap cards, including trap monsters like Zoma the Spirit.
The theme duels are really lame because you won't actually have the resources to build a cool deck that fits the theme. Instead, you're just stalling until you can meet the requirements. Might be more enjoyable if you cheated to get every card early.
Duel puzzles are fun tho.

Hey, sorry for the late response! I've been busy recently. World Championship 2008 is the game that taught me how to play yugioh, but you'll probably need to pull up a gamefaqs guide to progress through it. (I needed one, at least).
If you've watched the 5ds anime, 2010 and 2011 will be a great time, but theyre still solid on their own. If you're new to yugioh, I would get familiar with it through 2008 and then learn all the new summoning mechanics independently.
