The game is extremely smooth and has the charm of a Monster Hunter, but it's honestly more or less a watered down version of Pokémon GO.
Sure, killing monsters with a customizable hunter is more engaging, but at the end of the day the game is just a loop of the same actions over and over: open the app, kill the 2 small monsters in the area, kill the big monster, see if you can craft new equpment, close the app.
Hunting together is near impossible most of the time since the game often doesn't find nearby users even when sharing a QR Code, and there's no other activity other than just killing basic monsters with more or less the same pattern everytime.
The devs did put a lot of care into programming the monsters, but other than that, the game is pretty basic.
