I've had kinda mixed feelings about fontaine, 4.0 was good not too amazing, 4.1 was probably the most boring thing I've done this year and then we have 4.2. 4.2 still have the issue where the archon quest feel very disconnected to the new areas they've made especially 4.1. one of the things I loved about sumeru was to see the new places the story would take me. the story in genshin peaks in this new patch, the game got so much story now that it feels more like a VN than a rpg. The boss ended much earlier than expected which kinda disappointed me considering how little gameplay there has been after inazuma. It is much better than the fetch quest spam but I'd like just a little bit more gameplay. I still prefer sumeru because of how good the exploration is and because 4.1 sucked ass. Also I miss the jrpg party. RIP to all of the phone players that reached the 1 hour long ending cutscene 🙏🙏🙏
