While mostly known for its user created maps and campaigns, which admittedly plays a large part in making it my favourite game of all time, the base game is pretty cool as well and worth at the very least trying. Especially for people that are interested in the idea of an RTS with significant RPG elements.
The campaign is also worth going through at least once.
