Last time I reviewed one of mc2games escape room series I said that I’d undoubtedly buy each of them and I have done so once again.
I also said there’s a good level of head scratching and puzzle variation and I feel this falls down a little on the latter. Also though I said they’re not expensive and either I’ve become cheaper or the price tag on this felt higher than I would have liked considering how short an experience it is.
I absolutely detest Harry Potter so the theme of this one was not for me, the story was extremely shallow regardless.
This also has possibly one of the worst puzzles out of any of these I’ve played where, and I’m sorry to spoil it, it wants you to count things which are moving about in 3D space with no way of moving or marking them and they look quite similar.
It wasn’t clever and didn’t make me feel smart, it just made me feel frustrated and I had to squint a lot.
As last time YMMV but I do like escaping them rooms, this one just much less so than the others.
