Arkham Asylum is a definitive title of the 7th generation. That being said, I find the game to be amateurish in many ways. The combat lacks the depth of other action games released around this period, and I think overall the game might lack in replayability. It isn't very long, and thus the story is too fast-paced as well. Despite the aforementioned, I couldn't stop playing and I found Arkham Asylum to be relaxing to play. I'm interested to see what the rest of the series holds.
