This game is pretty fun, but I feel like it crumbles under the weight of an idea that is good conceptually. Because of the way the aging mechanic works, it basically demands that you play these stages near perfectly on your first few runthroughs so you're at a decent age by the time the game ends. And this game is QUITE difficult making it a very huge challenge to do so, but a challenge in the way that it gets super tedious after a while. The story is also quite weak in this game, but I'll give it a pass because I don't think it's the focus. The rest of it though is actually quite solid. It looks super pretty and it has a cool soundtrack, and the combat is super fluid and fun even if there aren't that many options to combat.

Overall, Sifu is a mechanically and aesthetically good game that would have been a really fun, challenging game if everything around the aging mechanic didn't exist, and it frankly asks way too much of the player for how little substance it has.
